Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Director of Sales Incentives to join our amazing culture.  In this role, you will be responsible for the design, governance, administration, and optimization of sales incentive programs that drive business performance while ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment between colleague rewards and company objectives. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, HR, and Executive Leadership to create scalable, data-driven incentive plans that motivate performance, support growth, and reinforce company values. As a Director of Sales Incentives, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

Incentive Strategy & Design

  • Lead the development and ongoing refinement of sales incentive and compensation programs aligned to company strategy, revenue and margin goals, and market competitiveness.
  • Ensure incentive structures are equitable, transparent, and compliant with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Translate business objectives into clear, measurable incentive components that balance colleague motivation with company profitability.

Program Management & Governance

  • Own the governance framework for sales incentive plans, including documentation, approvals, controls, and change management.
  • Establish consistent standards and processes across CTCs, regions, and roles.
  • Partner with Legal and HR to ensure compliance with employment laws, pay equity principles, and company policies.

Analytics, Reporting & Insights

  • Design and maintain tracking, reporting, and analytics for sales incentive data capture, payout accuracy, and ROI.
  • Analyze plan effectiveness, earnings distribution, attainment levels, and behavioral outcomes to recommend improvements.
  • Provide regular insights and executive-level reporting on incentive spend, trends, risks, and opportunities.

Business Partnership

  • Act as a strategic advisor to Sales/Finance leadership on incentive plan effectiveness, sales behavior, and performance outcomes.
  • Partner with both Sales and Finance on forecasting, budgeting, accruals, and financial impact of incentive programs.
  • Partner with HR (Global Compensation, Global HRIS, Payroll) to ensure seamless administration and accurate payouts.

Continuous Improvement & Optimization

  • Benchmark incentive programs against industry best practices and market trends.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify plans, improve clarity, and enhance colleague understanding and engagement.
  • Lead or support system enhancements related to sales incentive tracking, automation, and reporting.

 

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience designing and managing complex sales incentive programs in a growth-oriented organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders and influence across functions.
  • Experience working with HRIS, sales compensation, or incentive management systems (Workday, Xactly).
  • Strong communications skills to bring sales teams up to speed on changes in incentive plans and their impact.
  • Background in finance, analytics, or consulting related to sales performance or rewards.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum Experience: 8–12+ years of experience in sales compensation, incentive design, total rewards, or related roles.
