We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing to lead and scale our revenue engine. This role will own the full go-to-market strategy across residential, SMB, and enterprise segments, aligning sales execution with brand, demand generation, and customer growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings a strong telecommunications background preferably in fiber, broadband, or network services and thrives in a fast-paced, build-from-scratch environment.

Key Responsibilities

    Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive subscriber growth and revenue across all segments (MDU, residential, SMB, enterprise).
    • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing sales organization (inside sales, field sales, channel partners).
    • Establish KPIs, forecasts, and pipeline management processes to ensure consistent revenue attainment.
    • Identify and close strategic partnerships (MDU owners, developers, municipalities, channel partners).
    • Marketing Strategy & Demand Generation

      • Own and execute integrated marketing strategies including digital, field marketing, brand, and community engagement.
      • Drive demand generation campaigns to support new market launches and network expansions.
      • Oversee customer acquisition funnels, CAC optimization, and lead conversion metrics.
      • Manage brand positioning and messaging to differentiate in competitive fiber and broadband markets.
      • Go-To-Market & Product Alignment

        • Partner with operations, network, and product teams to align market launches with sales and marketing plans.
        • Develop pricing, packaging, and promotional strategies based on competitive and market insights.
        • Support new market entry strategies, including pre-launch and launch campaigns.
        • Operational Leadership

          • Build scalable processes, tools, and reporting across CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.
          • Manage budgets across sales and marketing functions with a focus on ROI and efficient growth.
          • Provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership and investors.
          • Customer & Market Insight

            • Leverage market data, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to refine strategy.
            • Champion customer experience across the lifecycle, from acquisition through retention.

Qualifications

    • 8–12+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing leadership within telecommunications, ISP, fiber, or related technology sectors.
    • Proven track record of driving revenue growth in a high-growth or startup environment.
    • Experience selling fiber, broadband, or network solutions to residential, MDU, and/or enterprise customers.
    • Strong leadership experience building and managing sales and marketing teams.
    • Deep understanding of telecom sales cycles, channel models, and infrastructure-driven go-to-market strategies.
    • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
    • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in fiber overbuilds, greenfield market launches, or rapid network expansion.
    • Background in MDU/bulk agreements, municipal partnerships, or channel sales.
    • MBA or relevant advanced degree (preferred but not required).
