Employment Type: Full-Time

Our Vision

At Flosum, we believe every enterprise running Salesforce deserves a platform that makes innovation fearless — where teams ship faster, data is never lost, and security is never an afterthought. Our vision is to become the undisputed global market leader in Salesforce-native DevSecOps and Data Protection, the default choice for every Fortune 500, government agency, and regulated enterprise that trusts Salesforce with their most critical business. We're building the category, and we're looking for a leader who will help us take it.

The Opportunity

This is a builder's role. As Director of Salesforce Development, you will shape the technical heart of a company on a mission to redefine how the world's largest enterprises protect, deploy, and scale on Salesforce. You'll partner directly with the CEO and executive team, own the architecture of our DevOps and Data Backup platforms, and lead the engineers whose work sits inside some of the most important Salesforce orgs on the planet.

If you want to look back in five years and say, "I helped build the market leader" — this is your seat.

What You'll Own
  • The end-to-end technical architecture across Salesforce (Apex, LWC, Metadata API) and Node.js systems that power our DevSecOps and Data Protection platform
  • The roadmap and delivery of our Salesforce DevOps capabilities — version control, CI/CD, automated merge, org comparison, and continuous deployment
  • The architecture and reliability of our Salesforce data backup, disaster recovery, and archival products trusted by regulated enterprises
  • Direct leadership, coaching, and accountability for a team of Salesforce and Node.js engineers — no layers, no diffusion of ownership
  • Training Node.js engineers into strong Salesforce platform contributors with a 1–2 month ramp
  • Setting the engineering bar, removing bottlenecks, and making the final technical call so execution never stalls
  • Partnering with Security, Product, and GTM leaders to ensure every release meets the standards of the world's most demanding customers

RequirementsWhat You Bring
  • 10+ years in software development with 3+ years leading engineering team
  • Deep Salesforce architecture mastery: Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Metadata & Tooling APIs, Platform Events, and governor-limit-aware design
  • Proven Salesforce DevOps expertise — source-driven development, CI/CD, sandbox strategy, and the KPIs that matter: lead time, deployment frequency, change failure rate
  • Hands-on experience architecting Salesforce data backup, recovery, and archival systems at enterprise scale
  • Strong production Node.js experience and the ability to own architecture that spans Salesforce and Node services
  • A track record of owning outcomes — not tasks — and holding teams to a high bar
  • Enterprise experience in regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, government, insurance) strongly preferred
Nice to Have
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architecticted
  • Familiarity with SOC 2, HIPAA, or FedRAMP compliance in the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Prior experience building ISV or AppExchange-native products
Who You Are
  • A builder who runs toward ambiguity and leaves clarity in your wak
  • A leader who can look at a team, see the gaps in 30 days, and close them in 90
  • A decision-maker who is comfortable being accountable — and who earns trust by being right more often than not
  • A coach who can turn strong Node.js engineers into strong Salesforce engineer
Why Flosum

You'll join a Salesforce Summit Partner and Innovation Award winner at the exact inflection point where category leadership is being decided. You'll have the autonomy of a founder, the resources of a scaled company, and a direct line to the executives setting the strategy. The work you ship will protect the Salesforce data and accelerate the Salesforce innovation of the world's most important enterprises

We're not looking for someone to manage what exists. We're looking for the leader who will help us become #1 — and build the team that gets us there.
