T1 Energy is looking to hire a Director, SEC Reporting to lead all aspects of public company reporting ensuring timely, accurate, and well-controlled SEC fillings. You'll serve as the technical accounting and disclosure leader across the organization, partnering closely with the CAO, Investor Relations, Legal, and senior finance leadership.

This is a high-impact leadership role in a publicly traded, capital-intensive energy business. Precision, discipline, and judgement are non-negotiable.

What You'll Do

  • Lead preparation, review, and filling of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and proxy statements.

  • Ensure full compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX requirements.

  • Oversee financial statement disclosures, MD&A, and supporting schedules.

  • Manage quarterly and year-end reporting cycles, including coordination with external auditors.

  • Monitor new accounting standards and SEC rule changes, drive implementation across the organization.

  • Partner with Investor Relations and Legal to ensure consistency and clarity in financial communications.

  • Lead and develop the SEC reporting team, setting high standards for accuracy and execution.

  • Support technical accounting research and complex transaction memos.

  • Contribute to special projects, including M&A, capital markets transactions, and debt/equity offerings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.

  • 10+ years of relevant accounting and reporting experience.

  • 5+ years in public company SEC reporting leadership role.

  • Big 4 experience strongly preferred.

  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX.

  • Experience in energy or other capital-intensive industries preferred.

  • Strong executive communication skills.
