Job Summary
As a leader in Direct Sales, you will be responsible to successfully supervise, organize, direct, and motivate a team of Direct Sales Supervisors and Representatives to meet or exceed sales and service connect goals which will assure subscriber growth and aid in the achievement of Company goals.
Responsibilities
- Identifies opportunities to improve overall performance and acts quickly to implement effective action plans.
- Provide Direct Sales Representatives with current product information on Optimum products and services as well as those of all competitors in the marketplace.
- Plans and executes Residential Direct Sales strategies by evaluating demographics and trends within the local marketplace. Analyzes results to identify opportunities to maximize bundle sell-in percentages, penetration, and overall sales productivity.
- Provides effective and timely feedback to local sales team and daily reporting to senior management.
- Demonstrates the ability to motivate teams by fostering a positive work environment through creativity, enthusiasm, and team spirit.
- Encourages a higher level of performance from workforce through the development of effective recognition and rewards programs.
- Effectively communicates, implements, and enforces all policies and procedures to make certain all sales quality guidelines are met.
- Plans, develops, and facilitates effective weekly meetings incorporating information, recognition, motivation, and training in support of the business plan.
- Builds, manages, and sustains organizational and customer relationships to achieve goals and improve the customer experience.
- Provides vital feedback to improve processes to foster a vibrant relationship with our customers, both internally and externally.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 plus years of proven success in sales leadership is preferred
- Prior telecom industry experience preferred
- Microsoft Office or similar program skills
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and confident presentation skills
- A charismatic and enthusiastic leader with skill and experience in creating excitement and energy, building, and leading teams and developing skills in others
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and initiatives in a fast- paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, to probe facts, identify and question assumptions and find creative and effective solutions
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license in good standing within the state of current residence
