KLDiscovery, one of the largest national eDiscovery providers, is seeking qualified candidates for upcoming Cyber Incident Response projects. About the Role
Document Review Analysts will review documents for Personal Identifiable Information (PII), Protected Health Information (PHI), and other sensitive data using various electronic review platforms. This position is project‑based, and successful candidates will be considered temporary contingent employees.

Position Details
Fully remote work‑from‑home opportunity
Must reside and work from the United States
Pay Rate:
$20/hour – candidates with a bachelor’s degree
$22/hour – candidates with a Juris Doctor (JD)
Duration varies by project; assignments may range from 1 week to 6 months or longer
Must be able to commit to a minimum of 40 hours/week between Monday and Friday 9 AM–5 PM ET
Overtime may be available depending on project needs and client approval
Responsibilities
Review documents affected by a data breach for PII, PHI, and other key data points
Identify required information in accordance with written and verbal instructions
Meet coding accuracy and speed expectations
Participate in required trainings and meetings
Maintain confidentiality and comply with document handling standards
Communicate effectively with team members and project leadership
Accurately track and input hours
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required (eligible for $20/hour)
JD preferred (eligible for $22/hour)
1+ year of experience with data breach or cyber incident response projects required
Must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin
Basic understanding of PII required; understanding of legal protections for sensitive data preferred
Experience with medical billing/coding or familiarity with medical terminology preferred
Ability to recognize common number sequences (SSNs, DOBs, credit/bank accounts)
Experience reviewing documents electronically using platforms such as Relativity, Canopy, and Nebula
Secure home office with high‑speed internet
Computer running Windows 11 (23H2, 24H2, 25H2 or newer) — Windows 11 in S Mode not supported — or MacOS Sonoma (14), Sequoia (15), Tahoe (26) or newer
Apple or Android phone/tablet running iOS 17+ or Android 12+; Google Authenticator compatible with iOS 14+ or Android 6+
Strong proficiency with computers and remote‑work technology

Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to follow complex instructions
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to meticulously track and input hours
