Why Inkit?

At Inkit, we’re on a mission to safeguard the world’s data while transforming how organizations generate, manage, and secure their most critical documents. Our File Intelligence Platform is trusted by leading commercial enterprises and government agencies alike — with certifications like DoW Impact Level 4 and 5 under our belt and a roadmap toward even broader compliance. This is an exciting time to join our team and build the next generation of secure, reliable infrastructure.

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly capable Systems Administrator to assist with and eventually own identity, SaaS, and cloud security across the company. This role is responsible for ensuring secure access, proper configuration, and ongoing governance of our core platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, and Microsoft 365/Azure AD.

You’ll work closely with Security, Engineering, and Operations to enforce strong access controls, maintain compliance with security frameworks, and improve the systems and workflows that support how Inkit operates. This is a great role for someone who enjoys building secure foundations, managing critical infrastructure, and bringing structure and reliability to a fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Do

Identity & Access Management (IAM)

Provision and manage systems account access via Rippling and Google Workspace SSO

Manage the full user lifecycle (provisioning, deprovisioning, role changes)

Implement and maintain MFA, conditional access, and identity governance policies

Security & Compliance

Monitor and audit system access, authentication logs, and platform activity

         Conduct periodic access reviews

Respond to and support security incidents related to identity and access

Assist leadership with special projects related to internal operations, process improvement, and organizational efficiency

Automation & Process Improvement

Develop automations for account management, reporting, and audits

Improve onboarding, offboarding, and access approval workflows

Integrate systems using APIs to reduce manual work and improve reliability

Collaboration & Support

Partner with Security, HR, and Engineering to define and enforce access policies

Provide internal company support for authentication and access-related issues

Document system configurations, procedures, and security policies

What We’re Looking For

Required

3–5+ years of experience in systems administration and identity access management

Strong understanding of SSO, SAML, and OAuth

Experience implementing MFA and conditional access policies

Strong attention to detail and security-first mindset

Ability to manage multiple systems and priorities effectively

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Bonus

         Certifications such as Security+

Hands on experience with Microsoft 365 / Azure AD (Entra ID)

Experience with identity providers (Platform One, Okta, etc.)

Familiarity with security frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST

Experience with endpoint management / MDM solutions

Experience with SIEM tools and log analysis

Why This Role Matters

As Inkit continues to scale across both government and commercial environments, maintaining strong security and access controls is critical to protecting our systems, customers, and data.

This role is foundational to ensuring that the right people have the right access at the right time while minimizing risk and maintaining compliance. By owning identity, SaaS, and cloud security infrastructure, this person will directly impact the company’s ability to operate securely, pass audits, and scale with confidence.
