Job Description
Title: Dynamics 365 Business Central Lead
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Department: Accounting
Reports to: Systems Administration Lead
Salary: $70,000-85,000 + bonus
Date: 7/2025
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled System Administrator with hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC). The ideal candidate will need to have both technical and functional experience to successfully be responsible for supporting end-users and collaborating with development and other teams to ensure optimal operation of the ERP platform and related systems.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but is subject to change.
Duties/Responsibilities: Functional and Technical
Functional:
- Primary point of contact for user issues via ticketing system, emails, or phone calls.
- Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 Support for ERP-related issues.
- Assist with Functional project initiatives (i.e. Lot Tracing, MRP)
- Assist with testing-related system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Maintain training materials and provide user end training.
Technical:
Work with Microsoft and/or third-party vendors for issue resolution.
- Assist with technical project initiatives (i.e. EDI integration and external logistic software integrations)
Triage issues and provide the appropriate solution or escalation through resolution.Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within D365 BC.Troubleshoot user access and security issues.Monitor system health, logs, and performance metrics.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Deep Knowledge of Operational processes including
- Planning MRP/MPS
- Production
- Logistics (Transfers/Movements/Counts)
- Experience with setup and management of D365 Security Groups
Clear verbal and written communication
Education/Experience:
- 3+ years of experience supporting and administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC).
- Food & Beverage experience
- Experience with related 3rd party solutions such as EDI, Medius AP, Power Platform, ISVs.
- Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 or system administration are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
