  • Partner closely with cross-functional internal stakeholders in engineering, technology, operations, and commercial teams, as well as external EMR implementation partners and other vendors, to build and maintain contract templates, frameworks, and processes that balance risk with business objectives and enable Veracyte’s key initiatives.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify contractual risks and propose risk-mitigation solutions
  • Assist in developing templates and playbooks; provide insights to improve Veracyte’s contract management system (currently Ironclad)

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the Life Sciences or Healthcare industry
  • At least 3 years of experience drafting and negotiating agreements related to the implementation of electronic medical record (EMR) systems (experience related to Epic EMR is preferred)
  • Ability to advance practical solutions by analyzing complex issues and taking business/client-focused approach to difficult decisions

  • Strong prioritization and time-management skills needed for a fast-paced environment
Who You Are:
  • You have initiative, enthusiasm, and resourcefulness
  • You are a team player with a passion for collaboration and patient care
  • Rather than saying “no,” you work with your business partners in a collaborative way to find solutions where solutions can be found
  • You are open to growth and learning, and are not afraid to fail and take calculated and appropriate risk by balancing it with business judgment
  • You take pride in developing and enabling the best work of your colleagues.  You support; you do not put down
  • You are driven to partner and put the work in to build respectful long-lasting relationships with the people you work across the table from
  • You work hard and want to have fun while you do so.  You celebrate wins and remember to enjoy the journey as we grow together and as a company
  • You thrive on intellectual debate and you are not threatened by it – you understand we act as a team and challenge each other respectfully to get to the best decision
  • You are fundamentally a good partner and a good human
