Job Description

AZZ has an exciting opportunity for an EHS Specialist at our Fort Worth Texas corporate office. Reporting to the Director of EHS you are a master collaborator working with both plant level management and corporate safety to ensure the alignment of daily administrative tasks. You’ll coordinate the policies, programs, and activities related to EHS programs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate EHS reporting and compliance activities, including monthly scorecards, safety metrics, and training tracking.
  • Maintain incident and injury records, ensuring timely reporting, follow-up, and resolution across plant locations.
  • Manage document control processes, including form administration, revision tracking, and master document maintenance.
  • Support regulatory compliance efforts, including DOT records, MCS-150 updates, UCR filings, and insurance documentation.
  • Support claims administration, including submission, tracking, and coordination with internal teams and third-party providers.
  • Maintain EHS systems and databases (e.g., COIs, plant contacts, asset tracking) while supporting audits, reporting, and departmental operations.
  • Assists with projects and additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of EHS experience.
  • D.O.T and FMCSA knowledge strongly preferred.
  • Concise and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to work with autonomy and discretion while maintaining employee privacy.
  • Ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Safety certifications strongly preferred.
