This role supports both current client engagements and upcoming automation projects. Candidates may be considered for immediate and future opportunities.

Overview

This role supports automation and intralogistics systems by designing and implementing electrical solutions that power automated material handling operations across distribution and fulfillment environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design electrical systems for conveyors, sortation systems, and automated equipment
  • Develop and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Specify components including panels, sensors, drives, and control devices
  • Support system integration with PLC, controls, and automation platforms
  • Participate in installation, commissioning, and system validation (FAT/SAT)
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues in both testing and live operational environments
  • Collaborate with controls, mechanical, and software engineering teams
Preferred Experience
  • Exposure to PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
  • Knowledge of industrial networks and control panels
  • Experience in distribution, fulfillment, or manufacturing environments


Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
  • 3–8+ years of experience in industrial or automation environments
  • Experience with material handling or automated systems preferred
  • Strong understanding of electrical design, power distribution, and controls integration
  • Ability to support field commissioning and travel as needed
Preferred
  • EIT (Engineer-in-Training)
  • PE (Professional Engineer) – for senior roles
Certifications (preferred)
  • PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
  • Industrial electrical systems
  • OSHA / safety standards

Location: Remote or based at client sites depending on project requirements.
