- Electrical design, detailing, BIM, or fabrication design experience.
- Strong understanding of electrical construction methods.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, one-lines, and specifications.
- Experience developing constructible layouts and detailed installation drawings.
- Knowledge of conduit, cable tray, electrical equipment, and support systems.
- CAD and/or BIM design experience.
- Strong spatial coordination and attention to detail.
- AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or comparable BIM software proficiency.
- Experience with electrical prefabrication or modular construction.
- Semiconductor, data center, battery, automotive, manufacturing, or cleanroom project experience.
- Electrical trade background combined with design experience.
- Experience working directly with field construction teams.
- BIM/VDC coordination experience.

QualificationsRequirements-
Associate’s degree or technical certification in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field

2–4 years of experience in a CAD drafting or technician role

Proficiency with AutoCAD (2D required; 3D preferred)

Familiarity with technical drawing standards and conventions (ANSI, ASME, etc.)

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, site plans, and schematics

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a project environment

Experience in energy, utilities, civil, structural, or industrial drafting

Working knowledge of additional software (Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SolidWorks, or Navisworks)

Knowledge of GIS systems, document control platforms, or project databases

Field coordination or construction experience is a plus
