- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- 4+ years of work experience in embedded software development using C/C++/Assembly languages
- Experience with bare metal operating systems, including low-level software development (e.g., device drivers and BSP development)
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Experience in Embedded real-time operating system development
- Experience with PowerPC, ARM, x86 processor architectures
- Hardware/Software integration and debug experience
- Familiarity with source control systems and configuration management practice
- Higher-level programming & scripting languages such as Python, Matlab & Simulink
- Familiarity with safety-critical development using DO-178B/C or equivalent stringent process requirements
