The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Serve as a senior legal advisor on workplace matters for a portfolio of business clients, working closely with a partner while holding real autonomy. The work blends client counseling, drafting and negotiation, transactional support and coaching of junior lawyers.

- Support deal teams by examining workforce-related contracts, contractor status and employee benefit commitments.
- Prepare and negotiate employment contracts, severance terms, post-employment restrictions and equity-related paperwork for several states.
- Give clients practical, forward-looking guidance on keeping their workforce practices compliant wherever employees are located.
- Own a book of clients and build direct, trusted relationships with them.
- Pursue enforcement of post-employment restrictions and run or supervise internal workplace inquiries.
- Handle responses to complaints brought by government employment agencies.
- Coach junior attorneys and help with business development and work that spans practice areas.
