What You’ll Do: 

As an Engagement Manager (EM) on SailPoint’s Professional Services team, you will support each customer’s journey by managing tactical project management duties and sales efforts required to deliver SailPoint solutions. Your main role will be to manage a portfolio of partner-led projects and provide oversight and guidance where needed. 
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee a large portfolio of partner-led software delivery projects.

  • Provide SailPoint guidance, expertise, and direction to all stakeholders as needed.

  • Act as the main point of contact for the portfolio of projects and provide all necessary status to SailPoint executive/management teams.

  • Own and manage all partner/delivery issues. Escalate internally and push back externally where needed.

  • Ensure that services are provided, implemented correctly, and billed in a timely and accurate manner 

  • Manage the financials of multiple projects, with a focus on profitability and productivity to ensure client satisfaction 

  • Perform end-to-end project management for all engagements 

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (scope, status, schedule, budget, forecast risks, issues) in appropriate repositories  

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of software project management experience 

  • 5+ years of professional experience at a Software, SaaS, or consulting company 

  • 2+ years of experience with a Big Four firm or Global Systems Integrator (GSI)

  • Strong ability to hold clients to task, ensure client commitments are met, and push back where needed.

  • Strong customer and project leadership skills and ability to handle ambiguity and lack of definition.

  • Experience with standard project management duties (project planning, budget, scope, schedule, stakeholder, and risk management). 

  • Excellent communication skills and extensive experience working with clients and partners.

Travel: Ability to travel up to 15% 

 

Education: 
Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent work experience.

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$91,000 - $130,000 - $169,000

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
