Operating with a strong sense of ownership and collaboration, our teams prioritize results while empowering each individual to do their best work.

About this role

  • Full Sales Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end sales process - from initial outreach and lead qualification to complex contract negotiations and closing.

  • Territory Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic plan to penetrate key industries (Finance, E-commerce, Healthcare, etc.) within the region.

  • Solution Selling: Conduct deep discovery to understand prospect pain points and demonstrate how Weaviate’s vector search and AI features provide a competitive edge.

  • Community Engagement: Work closely with our Developer Relations and Marketing teams to leverage our massive open-source community as a source of enterprise opportunities.

  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate forecasts and CRM records (Salesforce/HubSpot) to ensure predictable revenue growth.

What we are looking for

  • Experience: 4+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in infrastructure, databases, or AI/ML.

  • US (West) Expertise: Proven track record of hitting and exceeding quotas within the US West Coast market, including familiarity with regional procurement and legal nuances.

  • Technical Fluency: You do not need to be a developer, but you should be able to comfortably discuss APIs, LLMs, vector embeddings, and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP/Azure).

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Mindset: A 'builder' mentality. You thrive in the ambiguity of a fast-growing startup and enjoy creating your own playbooks.

  • Training in sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger) is highly desirable.

  • Quick learner with high emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to influence key stakeholders.

  • Passionate about advancing your career in enterprise sales and deepening your knowledge of our products.

  • Aligned with our company values and culture.

What we offer
  • 100% remote with flexible work hours.

  • Competitive compensation, including paid time off.

  • Budget available to spend on going to conferences, co-working space, home office equipment, etc.

  • Work with very experienced and fun team members.

  • An atmosphere that encourages learning and personal growth, and that gives you lots of freedom, flexibility, and responsibilities.

  • You will work at the forefront of search, ML/AI, and cloud-native technologies - and all of it is open source.
