As an Enterprise Business Development Representative (BDR) at Swap, you will be a key player in driving our growth by identifying and generating new business opportunities within mid-market and enterprise accounts. You will be responsible for engaging with senior stakeholders at target organisations, understanding their needs, and positioning Swap's offerings as the ideal solution to their challenges. This role is perfect for a highly motivated, results-driven individual with proven BDR experience and a passion for winning complex, high-value deals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-threaded outbound strategies to generate new business leads through cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking events.

Prospecting:

  • Qualify inbound leads and convert them into discovery meetings booked.

  • Engage with senior stakeholders and multiple contacts across target accounts to understand their business needs, pain points, and goals.

Pitching & Positioning:

  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Swap's products and services to potential customers over phone, email and social selling, tailoring messaging to enterprise-level challenges and priorities.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers through consistent follow-up and value-added communication.

  • Partner closely with Account Executives to develop ongoing engagement strategy with assigned prospect accounts to drive revenue goals.

Market Analysis:

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to effectively position Swap in the marketplace.

Reporting:

  • Track and report on individual key metrics such as lead conversion rates, sales pipeline development, and overall business development performance.

  • Utilise CRM tools to maintain accurate records of all interactions with potential customers.

Requirements:
  • 1–2 years' experience in a BDR or SDR role with a consistent track record of hitting or exceeding quota.

  • Experience prospecting into enterprise or mid-market accounts preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with senior stakeholders.

  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Apollo) and sales enablement tools preferred.

  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a passion for sales and business growth.

Diversity & Equal Opportunities:

We embrace diversity and equality in a serious way. We are committed to building a team with a variety of backgrounds, skills, and views. The more inclusive we are, the better our work will be. Creating a culture of equality isn't just the right thing to do; it's also the smart thing.
