What is Cool About This Job
As a key member of our Enterprise Sales Account Management team, you’ll be responsible for cross-selling and up-selling WP Engine's WordPress hosting services to our largest and most strategic Enterprise accounts using a consultative, solution sales approach. Are you excellent with current customers and enjoy growing an existing territory? This role will play to those strengths!

This is a hybrid role! Our sales organization visits our Austin, TX office weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The Day to Day

  • Build a pipeline through up-selling and cross selling into existing accounts, referrals, marketing & business development leads, and cold-calling.

  • Work independently to deliver the value of WP Engine's product to prospective customers and know when to pull in others as a force multiplier.

  • Close deals and understand it is essential to forecast accurately and keep Salesforce.com updated.

  • Efficiently schedule and run customer meetings, easily creating quotes and proposals.

  • Understand when to bring in Leadership and/or Sales Engineers to assist with closing a deal.

  • Negotiate and be able to articulate what it takes to close the deal.

  • Work with internal and external Security, Legal, Procurement, and Finance teams to take a deal from Discovery to Closed Won.

  • Provide sales reports to management and executives on a regular basis.

Your Expertise and Passion

  • Prior Enterprise sales experience strongly preferred; exposure to Solution Selling, Consultative Selling, Customer-Centric Selling, or Challenger helpful

  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM applications

  • Performance-driven mentality

  • Curious nature and aptitude for critical thinking/problem solving

  • Consistent energy and work ethic

  • The ability to learn quickly and be a self-starter are vital to this role

  • Effectively identify prospect/client needs and expectations

  • Ability to quickly identify and qualify potential new business

  • Effectively communicate over the phone, text, Zoom, social media, and email

  • Ability to run an opportunity from Discovery to Closed Won

  • Experience working with internal/external Security, Legal, Procurement, and Finance teams strongly preferred

  • Ability to take ownership of a relationship

Compensation
This team is looking to hire either a P4 or P5 level seller for this role.

P4 $90,000 base / $90,000 variable / OTE $180,000

P5 $110,000 base / $110,000 variable / OTE $220,000
*uncapped commissions and accelerators to award over-attainment

The cash compensation package above includes base pay plus on-target commission for employees in eligible roles. Sales incentive plans are uncapped with significant earning potential.
