Position Description: 

Be the technical voice in the room when a restaurant brand decides what runs its business.

You will partner with Sales Executives across our Channel, SMB, and Major Accounts teams to turn a prospect’s challenges into a demo they remember and a proof of concept that wins the deal. Then you stay through the pilot to make sure it delivers. Your job is to make the technology click, translating what PAR can do into what a restaurant operator cares about: faster service, happier guests, and a smoother day for the team.

Manager, Sales Engineering

What We’re Looking For:

Requirements:

  •  4+ years minimum in sales engineering, technical solutions sales, or restaurant technology operations.

  • Experience with POS and restaurant management software for the QSR or table-service software or hardware industry is required

  • A track record of explaining complex technology to key stakeholders in plain language.

  • Self-starter instincts, strong project management, and clear written and verbal communication.

  • Flexibility, creativity, and dependability. You deliver on commitments and deadlines.

  • Strategic thinking and a polished, professional presence with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to travel 50% of the time in role.

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

Win the room

  • Show, don’t tell. Run live demos, remote and in person, built around what each prospect actually needs.

  • Make the business case. Connect PAR’s technology to outcomes, and present with confidence to executives in enterprise boardrooms.

Solve the real problem

  • Listen first. Understand a customer’s goals, then map their requirements to our current and future offerings.

  • Get the details right. Work out the technical requirements and equipment behind a great guest experience.

  • Design around the operation. Work with teams to shape menu design to fit how the customer really runs.

Own the proof

  • Build proofs of concept that win. Design custom demonstrations with your team that show PAR beating the competition.

  • Run the evaluation. Act as Technical Account Manager through the trial. Own every technical detail, help prospects configure their systems, and solve problems creatively.

  • Stay the trusted advisor. Be the customer’s go-to from the first call through the pilot.

  • Keep learning. Technology moves fast. So will you.
