What You’ll Do
The Enterprise Technical Project Manager provides project management leadership for complex, technology-driven initiatives that support firmwide business transformation and operational objectives. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle for technical solutions, coordinating cross-functional technical and business teams, and ensuring delivery of secure, scalable, and high-quality technology outcomes. The Enterprise Technical Project Manager applies disciplined project management practices while navigating technical complexity, enterprise governance, and interdependencies across systems and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned enterprise technical projects from initiation through execution, closeout, and transition to ongoing operations or product ownership.
- Partner with executive sponsors and business stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, success criteria, and business cases.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies for technical initiatives.
- Coordinate cross-functional technical teams, including architects, engineers, analysts, and external vendors, to deliver project outcomes.
- Facilitate project governance activities, including status reporting, risk and issue management, and change control.
- Manage project dependencies, constraints, and inter-project coordination across portfolios and business units.
- Oversee vendor selection, contracting support, and vendor performance management when third-party resources are involved.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, including forecasts, capitalization considerations, and approval workflows.
- Ensure technical solutions meet quality, security, compliance, and resiliency requirements in partnership with architecture, security, and risk teams.
- Coordinate testing, user acceptance, deployment readiness, and production release activities.
- Support change readiness, stakeholder communications, and training coordination to promote adoption of technical project deliverables.
- Lead project transition into production and ensure handoff to Product Management or operational support teams.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across project teams.
- Use approved AI tools responsibly to improve project planning, analysis, communication, and delivery efficiency while maintaining appropriate human oversight and complying with firm policies for data privacy, security, confidentiality, and ethical use.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- 5–8+ years of experience managing technology-driven or enterprise IT projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional technical initiatives.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) within technical environments.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, risks, and vendor engagements.
- Familiarity with enterprise technology delivery, SDLC practices, and integration considerations.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow PPM, including Project Workspace.
- Proficiency with project management and delivery tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Planner, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Project management certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent).

- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand system interactions and technical dependencies.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and executive presentation skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities in large-scale technical environments.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working within enterprise governance, security, and risk management frameworks.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
