The Epic Testing Coordinator will oversee testing for Epic modules, develop strategies, coordinate testing activities, communicate results, and ensure quality assurance in implementations and upgrades.

Superlanet is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Epic Testing Coordinator to lead the planning, execution, and oversight of Epic system testing for a healthcare client. This role is essential in ensuring that all Epic modules and applications operate seamlessly supporting smooth implementations, upgrades, and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a deep understanding of the Epic ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Testing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and manage comprehensive testing plans, timelines, and strategies for Epic implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Define and document test scenarios, cases, and workflows based on requirements and end-user needs.
2. Test Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate testing activities across Epic modules, ensuring integration between systems and workflows.
- Partner with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Track, document, and resolve defects, escalating critical issues as necessary.
3. Collaboration & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all testing-related matters between project teams, end-users, and vendors.
- Communicate test results, feedback, and status updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Collaborate closely with Epic-certified analysts, project managers, and application teams to ensure testing meets business needs.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of test plans, scripts, results, and issue logs for audit and compliance.
- Provide regular progress reports to leadership, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Create and deliver training materials for end-users participating in UAT.
5. Quality Assurance
- Ensure all testing adheres to industry standards, organizational policies, and Epic best practices.
- Verify that workflows, interfaces, and modules meet quality standards before go-live or production changes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 3+ years of system testing or coordination experience.
- Proven success managing test cycles for large-scale Epic implementations or upgrades (Preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
Salary based on experience. $70,000 - $105,000
