An ES (Enterprise Solutions) Workday Lead is responsible for leading the implementation, enhancement, and support of Workday HCM, Finance, Payroll, or other Workday modules. They collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, configure Workday functionalities, and ensure that system changes align with organizational objectives. The role includes managing project timelines, coordinating with technical and functional teams, overseeing integrations, conducting testing activities, handling issue resolution, and ensuring compliance with data governance and security standards. They also provide guidance to team members, support system upgrades, and drive continuous process improvements. Key Skills: A successful Workday Lead should possess strong expertise in Workday modules, business process configuration, security setup, reporting, integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio), and data migration. They should have excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and project management skills, along with a solid understanding of HR, Finance, or Payroll processes depending on the domain. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, knowledge of Agile methodologies, experience with system testing, and effective communication skills are essential. Workday certifications and experience in leading end-to-end Workday implementations are highly valued.
