The Role

The Event Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in driving GoGuardian's event marketing strategy and creating breakthrough experiences for customers and prospects. This role requires a highly motivated and creative individual with a passion for events and experience planning, executing, and measuring impactful events that span the customer journey. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, prior experience in event marketing, a strong understanding of marketing principles, and the ability to manage complex projects from concept through execution.

What You'll Do

  • Help execute an integrated event strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure events support multiple stages of the sales and marketing funnel (ex: lead generation, brand awareness, customer retention and cross-sell).
  • Own and maintain the GoGuardian event calendar, spanning national, regional, and district appearances.
  • Up to 30% travel expected to attend prioritized events to assist with logistics, booth support, and event programming.
  • Develop and manage budgets for individual events, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximum ROI
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on attendance, logistics, and event programming
  • Manage procurement requests and billing, negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms
  • Monitor and analyze attendance data to inform future event planning and conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event
  • Gather feedback from attendees and stakeholders for continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, vendors, sponsors, and key stakeholders

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in event marketing, with a proven track record of success in planning and executing high-impact events.
  • Experience in developing and managing event budgets
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong  analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability  to analyze data and draw meaningful insights
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment using Google Suite, Slack and project management tools such as Airtable
  • Prior edtech or trade show experience is a plus but not required

The typical base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000 per year. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay for this position and your pay will be determined by a variety of factors, including your primary work location, skills, qualifications and experience.
