Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Events Project Manager, remote to join our remote team. The Events Project Manager will bring our virtual and in-person experiences to life. In this role, you’ll own events end-to-end from initial planning through live execution and post-event reporting ensuring every detail is thoughtfully managed and every experience reflects our brand at the highest standard. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to come in and be a builder in a startup tech environment.

Responsibilities: 

  • Own end-to-end execution of virtual and in-person events, including roundtables, webinars, and conferences
  • Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and run-of-show documents to ensure seamless delivery
  • Coordinate all event logistics, including venue management, vendor coordination, A/V production, speaker logistics, and on-site execution
  • Serve as the central project manager across internal teams (marketing, content, design, sales) to ensure alignment and timely execution
  • Manage event operations workflows and processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Support the execution of event-related marketing assets and communications (registration pages, email sends, promotional materials)
  • Lead on-site and virtual event execution, troubleshooting in real time to ensure a high-quality attendee experience
  • Track and report on event performance and operational metrics, ensuring accurate post-event reporting
  • Maintain consistent and high-quality brand execution across all event touchpoints

Requirements
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in event execution, event operations, or project management roles
  • Proven experience executing virtual and in-person events end-to-end, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing timelines, budgets, and multiple concurrent events
  • Experience coordinating vendors, venues, A/V production, and event logistics
  • Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and keep projects on track in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and adapt quickly during live event execution
  • Experience tracking and reporting on event performance metrics
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote, and cross-functional environment
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Passion for our mission and the desire to make an impact through technology

Salary range $45,000  to  $55,000  DOE; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A range of benefits may include equity, healthcare benefits, and paid time off may be provided as part of the compensation package.
