The role, in a nutshell:

We’re looking for a highly organized and resourceful Executive Business Partner to support our CEO and VP, People. This hybrid role is built for someone who thrives on variety: approximately 40% of your time will be spent supporting the CEO across executive business partnership and select work-adjacent personal needs, allowing them to focus on leading the company. You’ll dedicate another 30% to supporting our VP, People, including running staff meetings, coordinating offsites, and helping maintain the People team’s operating rhythm. The remaining 30% will focus on managing our New York City office.

This role suits someone equally comfortable driving executive priorities, managing complex logistics, coordinating leadership meetings, and supporting day-to-day office operations. You’ll report to the Chief of Staff to the CEO, rounding out the support functions for the CEO’s office.

What you’ll do:

Executive Business Partnership and Personal Support — CEO (~40%)

  • Own the CEO’s calendar end-to-end, proactively resolving conflicts and prioritizing time against what matters most
  • Prepare the CEO for meetings with agendas, background materials, and key talking points
  • Draft, proofread, and manage correspondence and communications on the CEO’s behalf
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects and follow up on action items to ensure deadlines are met
  • Act as a trusted liaison between the CEO and internal teams, the board, and external partners
  • Plan and coordinate domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries
  • Manage expense reporting and other administrative processes
  • Handle select work-adjacent personal appointments, errands, travel arrangements, and scheduling needs
  • Manage ad hoc personal projects with discretion and professionalism

Executive Business Partnership — VP, People (~30%)

  • Manage calendar scheduling and prioritization for the VP, People
  • Own the planning and execution of staff meetings, including agendas, materials, notes, action items, and follow-up
  • Plan and coordinate leadership offsites, team gatherings, and strategic working sessions
  • Prepare the VP, People for meetings by organizing relevant context, materials, and priorities
  • Coordinate travel, expenses, correspondence, and other day-to-day administrative needs
  • Track priorities, decisions, and commitments across the People leadership team to keep work moving
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between the VP, People and internal and external stakeholders
  • Support special projects and People team initiatives as needed

Office Management — New York City (~30%)

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees on office procedures, amenities, and day-to-day operations
  • Keep the NYC office welcoming, stocked, and running smoothly in partnership with the Culture team
  • Plan and coordinate logistics for in-office meetings and events, including catering, setup, and breakdown
  • Support employee engagement, team celebrations, and culture-building initiatives in the office
  • Build and document repeatable office processes, responsibilities, and operating procedures
  • Partner with leadership as the company evaluates its longer-term office-management needs

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years of experience supporting C-level or senior executives as an Executive Assistant, Executive Business Partner, or in a similarly high-trust role
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • A high degree of discretion, judgment, and trustworthiness when handling confidential information
  • Experience running leadership meetings, coordinating offsites, and tracking action items and follow-up
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across executive support, office logistics, and select personal assistance
  • Comfort supporting multiple executives and adapting to different working styles and priorities
  • Based in or able to work on-site in New York City
  • Willing to travel to Connecticut one to two times per week as needed
  • A proactive, adaptable approach to a broad and varied scope of work

Why this role

Our CEO needs a trusted partner who can keep professional priorities and select personal needs running smoothly, creating the time and focus required to lead the company effectively. At the same time, our VP, People needs a strong operational partner who can run staff meetings and offsites, manage priorities and follow-through, and help the People leadership team work effectively. Our growing New York City office also needs steady, consistent day-to-day support.

This role sits at the center of all three, offering a high-trust vantage point across executive leadership, the People organization, and office operations, with meaningful variety and impact from week to week.

About Us

We live and breathe our company values:

  • We are customer obsessed — We focus on delivering solutions to our customers that create value and make their lives better.
  • We have a bias for intentional action — We prioritize, plan, try things, and fail fast.
  • We don't take ourselves too seriously (but we do serious work) — We are solving an important problem which takes focus, but we also like to enjoy the journey.
  • We trust each other and assume good intentions — We're transparent with decisions to empower team members to make well informed decisions.

A few of the benefits we offer:

  • Flexible & Remote-First Culture: Work remotely with team meetup opportunities, bi-annual destination summits, and a monthly stipend for coworking spaces, phone and internet costs.

  • 100% Covered Health Insurance: We cover 100% of your health, vision and dental insurance premiums for you and your dependents. Nothing comes out of your paycheck.
  • ∞ Flexible Time Off: Take the time you need – to do our best work, we need to recharge and reset.
  • 18 Weeks Paid Parental Leave: We offer 18 weeks for birthing parents and 12 weeks for non-birthing parents, with the option to use it all at once or throughout your child's first year.

If your experience is close but doesn't fulfill all requirements, please apply. We're building the best team in technology and are focused on hiring "Chainguardians" with unique backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.
