Responsibilities:
- Processes financial documents and transactions from designated Districts using the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).
- Reviews accounting practices to ensure compliance with other Federal laws and regulations (e.g., Single Audit Act), generally accepted Government accounting practices, and relevant Office Management and Budget circulars.
- Identifies corrective actions for improper or illegal expenditures and accounting funds.
- Reviews and analyzes annual financial statements to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures.
- Demonstrates proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software and general knowledge of financial statements.
Qualifications:
- Four-year undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- Superior attention to detail
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in AP/AR Finance role.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with superior Excel skills (V-look up, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
