BigCommerce is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team. This role will be critical in driving data-driven insights and supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes across the company. The ideal candidate has strong modeling skills, attention to detail, and a passion for using financial insights to drive business outcomes.

What You'll Do:

• Support the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.

• Partner with business leaders to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and variances versus plan.

• Build and maintain detailed financial models to support revenue, expense, and headcount planning.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.

• Perform ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives, investments, and operational improvements.

• Collaborate with Accounting and other cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and alignment.

• Continuously improve and automate planning and reporting processes.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• 1–4 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field; SaaS or tech experience preferred.

• Strong financial modeling and Excel/Google Sheets skills.

• Proficiency with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or similar) is a plus.

• Understanding of SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, rule of 40).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
