Summary 

 

The Senior Financial Analyst in Corporate Development will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of Kodiak Gas Services. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of business processes. The successful candidate will work closely with the Corporate Development team, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic initiatives that drive the company's growth and success. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities  

  • Conduct thorough market and industry research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. 

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to support strategic decision-making. 

  • Develop detailed financial models to assess the financial feasibility and impact of potential acquisitions, partnerships, and investments. 

  • Analyze and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights to senior leadership. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine the company's overall strategic goals. 

  • Contribute to the development of business strategies that align with the company's long-term objectives. 

  • Lead and coordinate due diligence efforts for potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships. 

  • Work closely with legal, finance, and other relevant teams to assess risks and opportunities associated with strategic initiatives. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to senior leadership and other key decision-makers. 

 

Education & Certifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred. 

  • Completion of commercial bank or investment banking analyst training program 

 

Work Experience 

  • Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role within Corporate Development. 

  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. 

 

Skills & Abilities 

  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in analyzing complex datasets. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 

  • Highly self-motivated and directed.  

  • Attention to detail.  

  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.
