POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst collects, analyzes and generates reports on various financial, clinical and analytical data to best support the decision making responsibilities of the District. Principal areas of focus will include Reimbursement Analysis, Resource Utilization, Service Line Analysis, Budget and Decision Support for Administrative Activities.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education: Two year college degree in a business or related field, i.e. Accounting, Management, Finance, etc.
Minimum Work Experience: 2 years Financial Analyst. (Healthcare experience as a Financial Analyst preferred)
Required Licenses/Certifications: None
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Critical thinking skills, analytical abilities, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Experience with hospital cost accounting concepts and systems. Experience developing and implementing reporting solutions and tools. Knowledge of and experience working with Healthcare specific EMR, Decision Support, and Financial accounting software
