The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Enterprise Services team: 


The Enterprise Services Business Solutions (ESBS) Organization is a shared service across RTX. These services include payroll, timekeeping, accounts payable, travel and expense, accounts receivable, procurement, records management, accounting, and more, all aimed at supporting the core operations of RTX.  We currently have multiple projects focused on Financial System enhancements. To support these initiatives, ESBS is seeking a Financial System Analyst to join our PMO/Transformation Organization. The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of collaborating with various functional teams. They will also need strong communication skills to effectively provide management with updates on status, risks, and mitigation plans.


What You Will Do

  • Create business requirement documents, use cases, and process maps.
  • Design solutions to support non-standard work that meets business needs, workflow changes, and/or process re-engineering.
  • Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Partner with the other ESBS leads to ensure a common consistent process
  • Coordinate with SAP, operational, and business process SMEs across RTX
  • Lead the testing and validation of proposed solutions and ensuring that they meet business requirements.
  • Assist in training users and providing ongoing support for new or updated systems.
  • Foster relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and business partners
  • Assist project management with scheduling, resourcing, and change management activities

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Accounting or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience with the implementation, configuration, or support of Solov software or similar enterprise software platforms
  • 5+ years experience in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and translating them into actionable solutions
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment of software solutions.
  • 5+ years experience of Business Services business processes and technical system knowledge

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Ability to understand business processes, identify and mitigate risk
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and other analytical tools
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and external third parties
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple priorities with limited oversight and work with teams to define and implement IT Solution architecture or software
  • Demonstrated ability to identify system issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose effective solutions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Work Location: This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance of Richardson, TX, Farmington, CT, Cedar Rapids, IA, or Tucson, AZ.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
