Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled VP, FP&A to join Darktrace’s close-knit FP&A team and lead the team’s next phase of growth in the US. Reporting to the SVP of FP&A, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the team to meet the evolving needs of the Company.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will develop and maintain financial models, leverage reporting systems to drive operational budgets, and deliver actionable insights to senior management. Your work will directly influence resource allocation, growth investments, and long-term strategic decisions.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects; support senior decision making with financial analysis and sensitivity scenarios
Drive monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis and Board-level analysis
Continuously leverage and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, R&D and HR
Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions
Requirements
8+ years of professional experience in FP&A (or related) role
Bachelor’s degree in finance-related field and/ or professional qualification (MBA, CFA, CPA, etc) in finance-related field
Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and take the initiative
Numerate with advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling
Advanced proficiency with ERP tools (e.g. Workday, NetSuite, SAP) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Solid understanding of SaaS business models and metrics
Willingness to work flexibly to accommodate reporting deadlines across the year
Preferred
Experience working in a Private Equity-backed environment, with a strong understanding of PE reporting requirements and value creation strategies
Experience with Workday HCM and Workday Financials
Experience with Adaptive Financials / Workforce Planning
Experience with Salesforce
