Now Hiring: Shift Lead Manager (Front of House)
Location: Dish Society Mueller
Full-Time -Open Availability Required

Are you the kind of person who leads by example, thrives in a busy environment, and genuinely enjoys helping others succeed? At Dish Society, we’re looking for Shift Leads who are passionate about food, hospitality, and team success.

This role is ideal for someone with prior restaurant experience who loves leadership. You’ll support the Front of House team, help maintain smooth operations during your shifts and serve as the go-to when senior managers aren’t present.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Jump in wherever needed — whether it's taking orders, running food, making drinks, or assisting guests

  • Manage shift flow and communication between FOH and BOH, keeping an eye on ticket times, guest experience, and team positioning

  • Support team members during peak periods with in-the-moment coaching and positive leadership

  • Open or close the restaurant using established checklists and procedures

  • Lead by example in cleanliness, hospitality, and work ethic

  • Handle minor guest recovery situations and escalate larger issues when necessary

  • Uphold and model Dish Society’s values of hospitality, pride, growth, and connectedness.

  • At least 18 years old with prior restaurant or hospitality experience.

  • Passionate about service and genuinely enjoy connecting with both guests and teammates

  • Comfortable working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays — you get that we’re busiest when others are off

Schedule & Availability:

This role is typically scheduled 40–45 hours per week, with the flexibility to adjust based on business needs. Open availability is strongly preferred, including a mix of AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays. 

Compensation: Our Shift Leads are part of the FOH tip pool, so you'll earn hourly wages plus tips, just like the rest of the front-of-house team. We’ll break it all down during the interview!
