As a Frontend Engineer, you will develop and maintain UI components for Cloudflare's Media Platform, ensuring high performance and usability.
Available Locations: Austin, TX About the Department
Media Platform is part of Emerging Technologies & Incubation (ETI), where new and bold products are built and released within Cloudflare. Rather than being constrained by the structures which make Cloudflare a massively successful business, we are able to leverage them to deliver entirely new tools and products to our customers. Cloudflare's edge and network make it possible to solve problems at massive scale and efficiency which would be impossible for almost any other organization.
About the role
We are seeking a skilled Frontend (UI) Platform Engineer to join our team. You'll be responsible for all Media Platform components of the Cloudflare Dashboard: Images, Stream and Realtime. You will also build and maintain media-specific standalone UI components and applications, e.g. video players, media upload tools and web conferencing solutions. Media applications push performance and usability requirements to the limit.
Technologies we use
React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), React Router, PlayWright, Selenium, Vite, Webpack, Bazel, CI/CD tools, Go, RESTful APIs, HLS/DASH, WebRTC, MoQ.
