We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team. You will play a vital role in building, maintaining, and deploying web applications that boost business efficiency. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will identify business needs and deliver effective technological solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in PHP for backend development and proficiency with modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Vue.js, or similar frameworks). This is a remote position with a preference for candidates located in Tampa, FL, to facilitate occasional collaboration or local engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP for backend systems
- Create responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces (e.g., React, Vue.js, or similar)
- Implement features and solutions based on requirements from stakeholders
- Integrate databases, APIs, and third-party services as needed
- Deploy applications onto a web server to ensure public accessibility
- Perform regular maintenance, updates, and bug fixes
- Collaborate with non-technical team members to understand needs and deliver technical solutions
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in PHP for backend development
- Proficiency with modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular, or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of web development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience deploying web applications onto a web server (e.g., Apache, Nginx)
- Ability to work independently on development and deployment tasks while following provided direction
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with additional backend languages such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, CI/CD pipelines)
