Job Description SummaryThe Americas Pole Senior HDNU Frontline Quality Manager is responcible for customer facing quality and lean deliverables to ensure customer contractural outcomes and expectations are fulfilled. This role will lead a team of quality professionals and ensure cross-functional Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), Quality issue resoluton and daily management, Lessons learned implementation, Customer Event Investigations, ITR controntracutal support and execution, Customer Onervation Points, Contractural Quality Documentation are fulfilled to the highest customer satisfaction. This role works closely with the adjacent quality, engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing organizations to accomplish the key contractual quality deliverables of the Projects Portfolio. Additionally, this role will develop a long-term business process continuous improvement of the projects quality fulfilment and contribute to the overall strategy of the New Units Quality operation.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Ensure cross-functional RCAs timely and high quality execution and CAPA sustainment

  • Analyze data from Customer Events (CEs). Investigate if trends and systemic root cause will be addressed by existing projects, and if not, coordinate with Quality colleagues and Enabling Functions to address

  • Ensure RCAs are kicked off for CEs and improve RCA first past yield through gate reviews by tracking Root Cause Identification (RCID), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), and Effectiveness

  • Ensure Daily Management and resolution of “critical” and “high” NCRs.

  • Monitor and escalate NCRs for appropriate assignment/reassignment

  • Ensure the development of Customer Experience (CX) feedback action plans

  • Implement the lessons learned processes for like on-site and site to site applicaitons

  • Lead trainings for customer-facing teams on Quality processes and tools

  • Support ISO9001 recertification and Pole QMS audits

  • Develop Quality Alerts and Quality Read Across process.

  • Attend Customer Meetings to represent the Quality Function and actions to address Quality events and long-term actions Gas Power is taking to improve customer outcomes.

  • Implement continuous improvement via lean to drive improved fulfillment of Project quality contractual deliverables.

  • Develop processes and metrics to measure the deliverables of the operation ensuring on time delivery and identify areas of continuous improvement as it related to Project quality deliverables.

  • Ensure the ITO and OTR teams to drive proper recognition of the contractual quality requirements and this is flowed down to the fulfilling engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing operations.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Considerable experience in Quality and/or Lean and able to constructively collaborate and lead cross-functional initiatives and transformational continuous improvement projects.

  • Expertise in lean problem-solving tools including PSR, 3x5 Why, and 8D

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience

  • Experience working within complex, multi-site, multi-functional organizations

  • Experience in managing a portfolio of projects and activities

  • Customer Facing Role Experience

  • Travel as needed to drive strategy, support problem solving at sites, and connect with team

  • English fluency

  • Advanced degree

  • QMS and ISO experience

  • Previous People Leader Experience

  • Qualified 8D RCA leader

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems

  • Demonstrated ability to lead large programs/projects

  • Established project management skills

  • Spanish Fluency

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $154,800.00 and $258,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
