Drive North American sales and account growth for compressor seals, dry gas seals, and auxiliary systems. Develop new industrial business, manage distributors, support plant turnarounds, provide technical consultation and troubleshooting, identify replacement opportunities through maintenance data, deliver proposals and presentations, negotiate service agreements, and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service teams.
Your Role and Impact
At Flowserve, we are seeking a GasPac Compressor Seals & Systems Sales Specialist to drive profitable growth across a large North American territory. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding strategic customer relationships, and supporting industry-leading dry gas seal and compressor seal system solutions. You will work closely with customers in refining, petrochemical, LNG, pipeline, and industrial markets to identify reliability improvements, maintenance opportunities, and long-term partnership growth initiatives. Your ultimate goal is expand Flowserve GasPac market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies to expand market share and revenue.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across assigned accounts and regions.
- Build strong relationships with end users and channel partners.
- Provide technical and commercial support for dry gas seals, compressor seals, and seal systems.
- Conduct customer site visits, plant assessments, and technical presentations.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to deliver customer solutions.
- Utilize installed-base and market intelligence tools to identify maintenance, upgrade, and replacement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate opportunity forecasting and pipeline management activities.
Required Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of and experience with Compressor Dry Gas Seals, and turbomachinery manufacturing, repair, operation, application, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of end user petrochemical, refining, and LNG site ground-level operation in terms of personnel roles, responsibilities, influence, and profiles. End user experience in a rotating equipment technical role is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 6 years of experience supporting compressor seals, dry gas seals, mechanical seals, rotating equipment, or turbomachinery applications.
- Proven track record of developing new business and growing customer relationships.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex solutions to customers.
- Experience with financials to discuss business decisions, particularly return on investment in support of solution selling.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Dry Gas Seal Systems and Compressor Seal Systems.
- Background in rotating equipment reliability, maintenance engineering, or turbomachinery.
- Knowledge of API 682, API 692, and related industry standards.
- Experience within refining, petrochemical, LNG, pipeline, or industrial processing markets.
- Previous sales, business development, or territory management experience within the flow control or rotating equipment industry.
