About the team and the role:

The PMM Capabilities team is eBay’s strategic innovation hub for Product Marketing. We exist to make the PMM function more agile, scalable, and insight-driven through AI-powered tools, data fluency, systems innovation, and seamless cross-functional collaboration.

We’re hiring a Generative AI Solutions Designer, Product Marketing Enablement to bring this vision to life. In this role, you’ll design and prototype lightweight, intelligent tools that empower PMMs to plan, communicate, and execute at scale - without sacrificing context, clarity, or tone.

You’ll report to the Product Marketing Capabilities Team Lead within the PMM Capabilities team and collaborate with cross-functional partners. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role ideal for a curious, startup-minded builder who sees GenAI not just as infrastructure, but as a design material for problem-solving and innovation.

What you will accomplish:
  • Deliver GenAI-powered tools that reduce friction and unlock scale across PMM workflows - from insights and segmentation to GTM and messaging.

  • Design agentic flows, smart assistants, and reusable prompt systems that help turn strategy into clear, repeatable execution.

  • Apply best practices in prompt engineering, context design, and vibe coding to ensure tools reflect tone, audience, and business nuance.

  • Rapidly prototype solutions using scripting (e.g., Python), internal LLM platforms, and lightweight interfaces like Streamlit.

  • Collaborate across Product Marketing, Product, CRM, Research, Data, Analytics, Core Tech, and other stakeholders to validate use cases, ensure adoption, and evolve solutions.

  • Explore, test, and evolve the role GenAI can play across product marketing, contributing to a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and scale.

What you will bring:
  • Solid experience building with GenAI tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, LangChain), with at least 1–2 years applying them to real-world workflows or products.

  • Comfort with scripting, prototyping, and building fast with Python, Streamlit, or internal equivalents.

  • Fluency in prompt engineering, few-shot design, and shaping system behavior through well-structured context and tone.

  • A bias toward action and iteration, especially in ambiguous or evolving environments - you move ideas from insight to impact quickly.

  • Curiosity for marketing workflows, a passion for experimentation, and a drive to turn complexity into clarity.

  • Comfort collaborating across functions and building tools that integrate into broader systems and strategies.
