About the Role

We are seeking a Global Account Manager to lead strategic customer relationships and drive business growth across key global accounts. This role will own account strategy, revenue forecasting, and executive engagement while partnering closely with internal teams and external ecosystem partners to deliver impactful results.

Global Account Management

  • Own full account management across selected strategic global customers, including forecasting, sales pipeline management, and business growth strategies.
  • Develop and execute global account plans aligned with Ambiq’s long-term vision and customer requirements.
  • Deliver accurate and timely revenue forecasts to internal stakeholders.
  • Understand account organization and set up appropriate relationships/goals for each level

Customer & Corporate Intelligence

  • Gather and analyze organizational intelligence to understand customer decision-making processes, business priorities, and technology roadmaps.
  • Provide insights into customer strategies and align Ambiq’s solutions to their evolving needs.

ODM / Ecosystem Engagement

  • Collaborate with Original Design Manufacturers (ODMs) and key ecosystem partners to ensure design wins and smooth program execution.
  • Drive joint business development opportunities across the customer’s supply chain network.

Strategic Relationship Building

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships within global customer organizations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring Ambiq is positioned as a long-term partner in innovation and growth.

Account-Specific Priorities

  • Maintain and expand Ambiq’s existing business through strong engagement and continued value delivery.
  • Secure next-generation wins for Ambiq’s roadmap platforms
  • Identify and penetrate new verticals and application areas where Ambiq’s ultra-low-power technology provides a competitive advantage.

 Qualifications 

  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor, technology, or related industries with global account management responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of managing Tier-1 accounts and achieving design wins in highly competitive markets.
  • Strong network within the Edge AI, wearable, IoT, and consumer electronics ecosystem.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-regional accounts with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive engagement skills.
  • Experience collaborating with ODMs and ecosystem partners to drive customer success.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field) or 10+ years of directly relevant industry experience.

Success Metrics

  • Revenue growth and forecast accuracy.
  • Expansion of Ambiq’s design wins within existing and new application areas.
  • Strength and depth of executive and working-level customer relationships.
  • Successful engagement and alignment with ODMs and ecosystem partners
