Role Overview
Advanced Analytics is the tip of the spear of our Global Solutions team within Circana.  The team works with senior management at some of the world’s largest and most successful consumer packaged goods, retail, general merchandise, and over-the-counter health care companies, as well as for Private Equity firms.

You will be working on super custom modeling work across all our clients.  Along with digging into data and building statistical models from scratch, you will translate the outputs from the models into actionable, analytic insights.

You’ll participate in the development of new service offerings by building and enhancing the value and breadth of everything you will do. You’ll build a strong working knowledge of current trends in the Marketing, Market Research, and CPG Industries including Trade, Pricing and Promotion and other analytic techniques that will be the foundation to drive actionable insights. Additionally, you will develop best practices, templates and deliverables around the data and potentially integrate with our superior technology to drive scale as well as revenue.

Job Responsibilities

  • You’ll need to show an understanding of strategic frameworks, demonstrate basic understanding of business models and functions, exhibit a positive and make it happen attitude with strong collaborative skills.
  • You will need expertise with applied statistical methods as well the ability to create code to execute practical and robust business solutions.
  • You will work on an elite team of creative problem solvers who will become experts in all things modeling and Circana data and technology.
  • You will lead an analyst on your team.
  • This includes demonstrating creativity in thought, problem solving and conceptual skills, able to structure analysis and research, gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations

Requirements

  • 3-5 Years of experience in CPG/OTC industry.
  • Familiarity with store-level data.
  • Previous professional application of statistical analysis across multiple clients.
  • Consultative application of analytic solutions to solve business issues.
  • Able to engage in a consultative manner across multiple levels. Ability to present to VP+ level managers within and outside Circana.
  • Demonstrable ability to coach and lead teams.
  • Intellectual curiosity.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and high-level business savvy.
  • Demonstrated ability delivering results (i.e. financial, client satisfaction)
  • Ability to code in r, SAS and/or python.
  • Ability to glean and integrate insights from a variety of data sources.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and balance competing client priorities.
  • Highly organized.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline is required. An advanced degree is highly preferred.

 The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $110,000 to $125,000.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
