Global Benefits and Mobility Partner

About the role:

We are seeking a Global Benefits and Mobility Partner with deep expertise in global mobility and immigration to join our Global Benefits Team. This role will serve as a trusted partner to employees, Recruiting, Recruiting Operations, People Partners, business leaders, and external advisors, helping Samsara deliver a compliant, equitable, and high-quality mobility and immigration experience across the employee lifecycle.

Initially, this role will focus on global mobility and immigration, including program operations, case management, policy interpretation, close day-to-day collaboration with our global mobility and immigration partners, vendor partnership, and compliance. The successful candidate will bring strong mobility and immigration expertise and will be expected to build working knowledge in LOA and benefits through structured training and on-the-job development.

This role is open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

In this role, you will:

• Own and administer global mobility and immigration programs, policies, and processes across supported countries and employee populations.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert and primary point of contact for immigration, international assignments, relocations, green cards, H-1B CAP, employee visa sponsorships, transfers, and other mobility-related matters.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and scale global mobility and immigration processes through AI and automation, including case intake, document collection, approvals, deadline tracking, and employee communications.
• Partner with People, Recruiting, Legal, and People Analytics to design and implement AI-supported workflows that reduce manual work and improve the employee experience.
• Build and maintain clear policies, process guides, and self-service resources so employees and internal partners can find reliable answers to common mobility and immigration questions.
• Measure the impact of process improvements through case timelines, service quality, and stakeholder feedback, while maintaining appropriate review of sensitive information and immigration decisions.
• Work closely and extensively with our global mobility and immigration partners, including immigration, tax, relocation, and other external providers; coordinate priorities, monitor service quality, costs, case progress, and employee experience..
• Develop working knowledge of LOA and benefits programs, policies, systems, and processes.
• Assist with LOA and benefits case coordination, vendor follow-up, documentation, and issue resolution.

Minimum requirements for the role:

• 4+ years of experience in global mobility, immigration, or a closely related Total Rewards, People Operations, or HR operations role.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing immigration and mobility programs, cases, vendors, and employee-facing processes across multiple countries or jurisdictions.
• Experience working closely with global mobility and immigration partners and effectively coordinating work across internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of immigration compliance, mobility policy administration, cross-border employee movement, and related risk considerations.
• Excellent judgment and discretion when handling confidential, sensitive, and time-critical employee matters.
• Strong project management, organization, prioritization, and follow-through skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an employee-centered approach.
• Comfort working in an evolving, global environment with ambiguity and competing priorities.
• Willingness and ability to learn LOA and benefits; prior experience is helpful but not required at the same depth as mobility and immigration expertise.

An ideal candidate also has:

• Experience supporting a high-growth, global, or technology organization.
• Expertise with mobility and immigration.
• Some experience in Benefits in LOA.
• Experience managing or optimizing third-party vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with global assignment, relocation, tax, payroll, or permanent-establishment considerations.
• Relevant professional certification or education in immigration, global mobility, HR, benefits, or a related field.
