The Global Initiatives Program Lead supports the global HR organization by driving continuous improvement, smart change, and business-focused transformation across regions and functions.
This role leads cross functional and multi country initiatives that balance global consistency with local execution, partnering closely with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, regional HR teams, and other key stakeholders.
Operating within a collaborative global team, the Program Lead delivers high impact initiatives that accelerate business strategy while ensuring compliance, quality, and a strong colleague experience.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and support global, regional, and multi-country HR initiatives from intake through execution, ensuring clear scope, alignment to business priorities, and defined outcomes.
  • Execute end-to-end project management activities, including intake assessment, project planning, coordination of resources, tracking milestones, and supporting change management and implementation.
  • Manage and contribute to a portfolio of HR initiatives, including HR Operations and COE programs, system and process deployments, workforce transitions, compliance activities, vendor engagements, and process improvement efforts.
  • Support program governance and reporting by maintaining project plans, tracking risks, issues, and dependencies, and preparing clear status updates and stakeholder communications.
  • Partner with HR stakeholders (COEs, HR Business Partners, regional and country HR) and cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Legal) to support effective planning, execution, and adoption.
  • Collaborate across global and regional teams to help translate business and regulatory requirements into practical, compliant, and scalable process solutions.
  • Apply lean and continuous improvement principles to identify opportunities to simplify and standardize HR processes; participate in process improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and solution implementation.
  • Provide consultative support by gathering requirements, analyzing challenges, and contributing to solution design using data and best practices.
  • Support change management and adoption efforts through coordination of communications, training materials, and transition activities.
  • Demonstrate strong project management and teamwork skills, effectively collaborating and influencing within a matrixed environment.
  • Partner with cross functional teams and wing-to-wing internal operational and support teams for M&A transitions including acquisitions, dispositions, or business reorgs where there is pay and benefits impact. 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR Program Management, HR Operations, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross‑functional, and multi‑country or global initiatives.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders across regions and time zones.
  • Demonstrated experience balancing global requirements with local or regional needs.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and execution skills.
  • Fluency in local language and English fluency, both verbal and written.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience supporting one or more HR disciplines (e.g., HR Operations, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Attendance, M&A).
  • Familiarity with HR systems and platforms (e.g., Workday, Service Now).
  • Experience with compliance, audits, governance, or regulatory initiatives.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
  • Strong customer‑focused mindset with attention to detail and quality.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, change, and evolving priorities.
  • Collaborative, inclusive team player who values diverse perspectives.
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to influence without authority.
