Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Global Program Manager located in Austin TX

Reporting to the VP Early Engagement & Launch Excellence, the Global Program Manager will ensure there is a common interface to the Customer and between the multiple sites; focuses on tactical execution that affects the strategic relationship between Flex and the Customer; continues to monitor and reduce program risk, while maximizing program profitability. 

What a typical day looks like:

  • Develop high-quality executive presentations, business updates, and leadership communications.
  • Translate complex information and data into clear, and compelling messages.
  • Create content and storytelling for executive meetings, business reviews, town halls, and leadership discussions.
  • Support the preparation of PowerPoint presentations, executive briefings, talking points, and written communications.
  • PMO and business leaders to collect, organize, and synthesize information across multiple programs and initiatives.
  • Help communicate key priorities, accomplishments, risks, and business outcomes.
  • Support leadership meetings by developing agendas, presentation materials, and follow-up communications.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across PMO communications and executive materials.
  • Help improve how the PMO communicates its strategy, value, priorities, and results across the organization
  • Act as the leader and sponsor for Global customer FPLC projects and has sign off responsibility at the phase gate reviews 
  • Coordinate / manage Global Customer business reviews on a quarterly basis 
  • Input into Customer Contract development and ensures Contract requirements are adhered to by both operations and customers. 
  • Identify additional opportunities within a division/segment or account and support the integrated sales proposal. 
  • Ensure cost reduction plans are in place to meet customer targets. 
  • Establish and manage Business Resumption plans for all customer commodities. 
  • Conduct operational reviews to ensure Flex and Customer requirements are at the required levels. 
  • Input operational and manufacturing strategies to support customer business strategies.  
  • Establish performance measurements for Global PM Organization to maximize profit and reduce liability (CSMP, KOI, P&L etc.). 
  • Conducts CSMP with Customer Senior management. 
  • Ensure CSMP schedule is adhered to, and improvement actions are implemented and communicated to the customer. 
  • Setting and resetting customer expectations. 

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Masters degree 10 years of experience in program administration/ management or related area.  
  • Expert functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses relationship skills. 
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, and financial reports. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
  • Ability to effectively present information to internal and external executive management.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
