Job Description

The North America (NA) Go-to-Market Strategy and Operations Analyst will be a key member of the NA Value Added Solutions (VAS) commercialization, strategy and go-to-market team. This role will be responsible for analyzing sales performance metrics, developing strategies for sales targets and initiatives, coordinating the customization and development of necessary sales collateral, evaluating priorities based on performance, and making data-driven recommendations.

This individual will work closely with key cross-functional stakeholders including sales, product, marketing, and operations functions. The successful candidate will be analytical, highly collaborative, team-oriented, and have a client centric mindset, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships across Visa. This role reports to the VP, NA VAS GTM & Strategy and will also be accountable to various members of the NA VAS GTM team.

Essential Functions

  • Support cross-functional sales and operations teams to validate sales readiness with respect to toolkits and collateral, client success, and product/service improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with a range of internal stakeholders to develop data driven recommendations.
  • Communicate recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional staff and management in a clear, concise and impactful way.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment of sales strategies, results, priorities.
  • Work closely with the GTM team, cross-functional and regional management teams on strategic projects, bringing timely and useful insight and analytical support
  • Troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve issues in a timely manner 
  • Foster productive relationships at all levels within the team and across Visa

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Strong analytical, problem solving, with the ability to turn insights into actionable recommendations.
• High proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word required
• Self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
• Strong communication and writing skills, including comfort with executive messaging.
• Ability to develop content independently and prioritize workflow with limited supervision
• Ability to handle multiple project workstreams, with proven success in synthesizing large data sets related to a wide variety of functional business problems
• Manage high complexity, effectively manage time, and prioritize workload.
• Experience in the payments industry not required, but a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and PowerBI or Tableau are a plus.
• Demonstrated track record of cross-functional collaboration and contribution.
• Experience working directly with sales leaders, account executives, and/or revenue strategy teams to identify growth challenges and drive commercial outcomes.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 92,300.00 to 130,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
