Company Overview

Daybreak (thedaybreak.com) is revolutionizing sleep health through innovative at-home solutions for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Our FDA-cleared platform includes a simple finger-worn sleep test and a custom-fit mandibular advancement device that eliminates the need for bulky CPAP machines, masks, or sleep labs.

We empower individuals to reclaim restful sleep from home, managing everything from diagnosis to insurance navigation with a patient-first approach. Serving thousands of patients nationwide, Daybreak is committed to accessibility, clinical excellence, and life-changing outcomes in the telehealth space.

Join us as we scale access to better sleep across both federal healthcare systems and clinical provider networks.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Enterprise Account Executive to lead Daybreak’s expansion across federal healthcare and physician referral networks.

This is a highly strategic, field-based enterprise sales role focused on driving adoption of at-home sleep testing and oral appliance therapy (OAT) across VA Medical Centers, Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), and affiliated physician groups.

You will own territory strategy, build deep clinical and administrative relationships, and navigate complex healthcare systems to expand access for veteran populations.

Priority geographies include Texas, Florida, and the Midwest (Chicago, Cleveland, Minneapolis). California will be supported through existing relationships.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and execute a territory strategy across VA Medical Centers (VAMCs), CBOCs, and affiliated physician networks

  • Build and expand relationships with sleep physicians, pulmonologists, primary care providers, ENT specialists, dentists, prosthodontists, and VA procurement stakeholders

  • Drive adoption of Daybreak’s at-home sleep testing and oral appliance therapy as part of clinical sleep care pathways

  • Navigate VA contracting pathways, formulary processes, and procurement systems to enable access and utilization

  • Identify and develop key opinion leaders (KOLs) within VA systems and broader sleep medicine networks

  • Deliver clinical education, in-services, and training programs to healthcare professionals

  • Partner cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and reimbursement teams to ensure seamless onboarding and patient support

  • Track market dynamics, policy changes, and competitive activity impacting federal healthcare and sleep medicine

  • Maintain accurate CRM forecasting, pipeline management, and territory planning

  • Own and exceed enterprise-level sales targets across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 3–7+ years of medical device or healthcare enterprise sales experience (sleep medicine, respiratory, ENT, or dental strongly preferred)

  • Proven experience selling into the VA or federal healthcare systems strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of obstructive sleep apnea and treatment pathways (CPAP, OAT, etc.)

  • Demonstrated success navigating long, complex healthcare sales cycles

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to operate independently across a large, multi-state territory

  • Willingness to travel 50–70%

Nice to have:

  • Experience with oral appliance therapy or dental sleep medicine

  • Familiarity with VA contracting structures (FSS, GSA, procurement workflows)

  • Existing relationships within VA sleep centers, pulmonology groups, or dental clinics

  • Clinical background or ability to confidently communicate clinical data

Approach to the role:

  • You think in systems, not deals—you understand how to unlock access within complex healthcare environments

  • You are consultative, leading with clinical credibility and patient outcomes

  • You are persistent, able to manage long sales cycles across multiple stakeholders

  • You build trust with clinicians and administrators to drive sustained adoption

  • You own your territory with autonomy, structure, and accountability

Compensation:

This role offers a base salary of $80,000 with on-target earnings (OTE) of approximately $250,000, including uncapped commission.
