Part-time Growth Manager (Mon-Wed, 24 hrs/week) who analyzes subscription funnel data, defines and ships product/marketing experiments across paid acquisition, onboarding, retention, and lifecycle messaging, evaluates results to decide next steps, and maintains a prioritized growth backlog while improving automation and AI-driven workflows.
The summary above was generated by AI

The Dyrt is the largest digital camping platform in the world and is the only camping app with all camping locations in the U.S. Every second, a new user visits The Dyrt to access our community-driven campground information.

If you are a camper who loves the outdoors and want to be part of a fast-growing consumer app, you’re in the right place.

The Role

The Dyrt is hiring a Consumer App Subscription Growth Manager to turn data-driven insights into shipped, revenue-generating improvements for our PRO subscription.

Leveraging our strong analytics, experimentation, and automation tools, you will turn growth signals into clear priorities and shipped improvements across paid acquisition, landing pages, onboarding, trial conversion, lifecycle messaging, retention, and cancellation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Find Growth Opportunities: Analyze data across the subscription funnel to surface high-impact growth levers, isolate metric drivers, and separate signal from noise.
  • Decide What Changes: Translate insights into crisp product and marketing changes. Define target screens, copy, logic, and audiences via short specs, copy docs, wireframes, and design briefs.
  • Get Changes Shipped: Write tickets, partner with surface owners across web, app, email, billing, and paid channels, resolve ambiguity, and drive features across the finish line.
  • Call the Result: Set success metrics before launch and rigorously evaluate every release to execute a clear verdict: Ship, Kill, or Iterate.
  • Own the Growth Queue: Maintain and defend our prioritized growth backlog, making clear, compelling cases for what the team should build next.
  • Improve the System: Refine our AI tools, automation, and documentation workflows so team learnings compound over time.

What You Bring:

  • Execution Driver: Proven track record of taking initiatives from opportunity → spec → build → launch → result, navigating crowded roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
  • Data Judgment: Skilled in breaking down top-line metrics, reading experiment results, spotting tracking bugs, and isolating true causal signals. (SQL is a plus).
  • Strong Product & UX Eye: Sharp intuition for onboarding flows, paywalls, messaging, and retention mechanics, backed by clear spec and markup skills.
  • Concise Communication: Writes plainly and persuasively. Busy stakeholders can read your proposal once and immediately understand the recommendation.
  • Comfort with AI & Tooling: Curious and proactive in using AI/automation for analysis, prototyping, research, and documentation to move faster.
  • Domain Experience: Background with paid subscriptions, mobile apps, growth, or lifecycle marketing is highly desirable.

Working Here:
With over 300M annual impressions, The Dyrt is the only camping app with all of the public and private campgrounds, RV parks, and free camping locations in the United States, along with millions of user-generated campground reviews. The Dyrt is also the #1 advertising platform for brands looking to get in front of campers in the US. The Dyrt works with companies like Toyota, T-mobile, Nature Bakery, and Smartwool, to help campers find their next adventure.

The Dyrt is built by campers, for campers. Whether you're new to the outdoors or have been sleeping under the stars for decades, what matters is that you share that passion. We pride ourselves on a team that is down-to-earth, driven to execute beyond expectations, and have a daily drive to win.

This is a part-time, remote position. Employees are expected to maintain high-speed internet and a professional working environment sufficient for clear video conferencing during standard working hours. Must work in a U.S. time zone. Our founders even work from their van.

The Dyrt is an equal opportunity workplace. We believe that the outdoors are for everyone, and are committed to building an inclusive platform and community that celebrates all people.
