About Tecla:

Tecla is a technology staffing company that helps world-class companies scale with top, remote software engineers, cloud experts, and AI specialists from across the U.S. and Latin America. We are the bridge between hiring in-house and outsourcing, giving companies the flexibility and cost savings of outsourcing while providing the quality and control of fully integrated engineering teams.

We also operate a small portfolio of interrelated sub-brands, all of which feed back into Tecla’s flagship business. This role will focus primarily on Tecla’s main line, with light support for emerging sub-brands.

The Role:

We are looking for a Growth Marketer to own Tecla’s U.S. marketing and demand generation.

This is a player-coach role where you will manage budget, guide a small team, and set strategy while also staying hands-on with SEO, CRO, SEM, and growth experiments.

This is not a specialist role. We need a creative growth generalist who thinks like a founder, understands business fundamentals, and can design experiments that generate measurable results.

You will operate both as a hands-on operator in critical areas such as SEO, CRO, and SEM, and as a systems architect who documents winning tactics into scalable playbooks.

Your mission is to generate more Qualified Leads, Meetings Booked, and Pipeline Value through a mix of inbound and demand generation initiatives.

What You Will Do:

Inbound and Website Growth

  • Own CRO strategy in partnership with our Marketing Analyst
  • Launch landing page experiments including copy, UX adjustments, and A/B testing
  • Increase qualified traffic to the website and improve conversion rates

SEO and Organic Growth

  • Maintain and strengthen Tecla’s top-ranking keywords
  • Expand into new high-intent keywords
  • Oversee backlink strategies with agencies

Demand Generation and Campaigns

  • Build and run inbound and demand generation campaigns such as webinars, targeted programs, and multi-channel campaigns
  • Partner with our Google Ads consultant on SEM execution and optimization
  • Test and pioneer new acquisition channels such as LinkedIn Ads, partnerships, and creative campaigns
  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate spend to maximize Qualified Leads and pipeline growth

Growth Strategy and Systems

  • Alternate between acting as a hands-on operator for high-priority projects and documenting repeatable growth systems
  • Support Tecla’s portfolio sub-brands as a secondary responsibility
  • Occasionally collaborate on Austin Gild events to support local growth

AI-First Marketing

  • Use ChatGPT and other AI tools daily for campaign creation, personalization, reporting, and ideation
  • Embed AI into workflows to drive scale and efficiency

Analytics and KPIs

  • Define and track KPIs including Qualified Leads, Meetings Booked, Pipeline Value, and qualified website traffic growth
  • Report on CAC, CPL, and ROI by channel
  • Be accountable for both results and learnings

What We Are Looking For:

  • 3 to 5 years in growth or demand generation, ideally in B2B tech services such as staffing, software development, or managed services. Strong B2B SaaS experience will also be considered
  • Proven generalist marketer with breadth across inbound, demand generation, lifecycle, and brand
  • Strong track record in SEO, website conversion, and inbound lead generation
  • Hands-on experience with SEO, SEM (Google Ads), CRO, and landing pages
  • At least 2 years managing marketing budgets with proven ROI
  • Experience using ChatGPT and AI tools for marketing
  • Creative and data-driven with the ability to propose, design, and test new campaigns and channels
  • Analytical skills with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
  • Austin-based preferred, Texas-wide candidates considered

What Success Looks Like:

  • Consistent growth in Revenue, Qualified Leads, Meetings Booked, and Pipeline Value
  • Website attracts more qualified traffic and converts at a higher rate
  • Top keyword rankings are maintained and new high-intent keywords are captured
  • Clear ROI reporting guides budget allocation
  • New creative channels tested and validated
  • Growth playbooks documented and applied across Tecla and its sub-brands

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $80,000
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000 annually (base + performance bonus)
  • Bonus Structure: Paid quarterly, tied to exceeding TECLA’s current marketing baselines.

Benefits:

  • Fully remote work environment
  • 401k with 3 percent salary match and self-directed investment options
  • 15 work days of paid time off per year
  • 10 company holidays
  • Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA)
  • Annual company retreat with the full team
  • $500 toward your office setup expenses upon joining

Why Tecla:

  • Austin-based hub with a distributed team across the Americas
  • Multicultural, collaborative, and fun team culture
  • Direct ownership of the most critical lever in the business: pipeline and lead generation
