Summary of This Role

The Growth Marketing Specialist for Genius POS is a business-critical role within the Revenue Marketing organization and will have a significant impact on revenue growth.  Unlike traditional marketers, Growth Marketer will not be focused on new campaign launches. Their primary focus is on measuring the impact of every marketing effort, identifying areas of improvement, and making data-informed decisions to optimize results. This requires a unique blend of marketing expertise, analytical skills, and technical capabilities.

Growth Marketing Specialist’s primary goal will be to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth. Day-to-day tasks will revolve around data analysis, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Create buyer personas that outline their needs, pain points, and behavior. Then, design multi-channel marketing campaigns that resonate with these personas and drive conversions.

  • Analyze the data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within existing campaigns and revenue activities. Provide actionable insights to improve marketing efforts and optimize resource allocation.

  • Design experiments for various marketing channels, including email, social media, and landing pages. Analyze the test results and implement the winning variations. Continuously iterate on messaging, channel, assets, allocation, etc.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to align messaging, lead generation efforts, and targeting.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B SaaS demand generation and growth marketing

  • Demonstrated understanding of integrated campaign architecture and the customer decision journey

  • Ability to leverage analytics, marketing automation, and CRM tools to derive campaign performance insights

  • Demonstrated technical skills such as Excel (or Google Sheets) for data manipulation and visualization, Web analytics tools like Google Analytics, VWO, and modern tech stack

  • Understanding of Conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques

  • Resourceful marketer who is self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to define and achieve objectives with limited oversight

  • Strong relationship builder and high collaborator with Sales, marketing leadership, and other stakeholders

  • Experience with SMB, payments, or point of sale is preferred
