Who is Sonar?
Sonar is driving the future of agent-centric software development. As the leader in AI code review and verification, we solve a critical problem: ensuring that software generated by AI-assisted developers or autonomous agents is reliable, secure, and maintainable.
Integrating seamlessly with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, and Devin, we help over 75% of the Fortune 100 build trusted, reliable, compliant software. Customers who use Sonar are 44% less likely to report an outage due to AI-generated code.
We believe code verification is the critical missing link in the Agent-Centric Development Cycle (AC/DC). Industry giants like Nvidia, ServiceNow, Booking.com, Goldman Sachs, AstraZeneca, and Ford Motor Company.count on us to provide independent, explainable, consistent review and governance of their AI-generated code via products like:
SonarQube: The world’s leading AI code review and verification platform.
SonarQube Foundation Agent: Currently topping the leaderboards for agentic software repair.
SonarSweep & Sonar Context Augmentation: Providing the enterprise-grade context and constraints agents need to be truly effective.
Our team operates across global hubs in Austin, Bochum, Dubai, Geneva, London, Singapore, Tokyo, and Washington D.C. We move with a mindset we call CODE:
Committed to our customers and community.
Obsessed with quality.
Deliberate in our decisions.

Position Description:
As a Go-To-Market (GTM) Recruiter at Sonar, you won’t just be filling seats - you’ll be the architect of our revenue engine. We operate in a high-velocity environment where "pace" isn’t just a buzzword; it’s our default setting. You will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. You'll be working from our Austin, TX headquarters, a busy GTM hub, where you'll be the local Talent expert and SME for our Revenue leaders.
Your Core Focus:
High-Velocity Execution: You thrive in an environment that moves fast. You’ll manage full-cycle recruiting processes with urgency, ensuring we hit aggressive hiring targets without sacrificing quality.
Strategic Sourcing: You are a "hunter" by nature. You know how to dig deep into talent pools, leverage creative sourcing channels, and engage passive candidates who aren’t even looking yet.
Stakeholder Management: You’ll act as a strategic partner to our Sales Directors, VPs, and Revenue leadership. You don’t just take orders; you consult on market trends, calibrate profiles, and manage expectations through clear, data-driven communication.
Candidate Experience: In a competitive market, you are the face of Sonar. You’ll craft compelling narratives that sell our mission and ensure every candidate has a seamless, professional, and high-energy interview journey.
What You Bring To The Table:
5 years+ experience in Recruitment: You should have a proven background in recruitment, with the majority spent in-house. Agency experience is greatly appreciated, though you should have a strong understanding of how to navigate the internal recruiting world.
- GTM Recruiting experience: You must have a solid grasp of the GTM landscape; you should understand how Sales people operate, what makes them tick.
Revenue Fluency: You speak the language of sales. You understand quotas, territories, and what makes a "top 1%" AE or Sales Engineer.
Relationship Building: The ability to push back on hiring managers when necessary and provide expert guidance on the talent landscape.
Adaptability: The agility to pivot priorities as the business evolves, maintaining a cool head under pressure.
You don't just find people; you find the right people, right now.
This role is based in Austin. We are unable to consider candidates unwilling to be in Austin but we are willing to relocate the right candidate.
