Head of Global Demand Generation 

Blackbaud is seeking a Head of Global Demand Generation to serve as the global owner of pipeline creation, demand execution, and measurable growth outcomes across Blackbaud and YourCause. 

Reporting to the SVP of Growth, this leader will turn strategy into consistent execution through a disciplined operating model aligned to a customer-centric, experience-led growth strategy. 

This role is responsible for scaling global demand performance, improving efficiency and conversion outcomes, delivering against pipeline and revenue contribution targets, and reinforcing Blackbaud’s position as the world’s leading provider of AI-powered solutions for Social Impact. 

What you'll do:

Global Pipeline Ownership 

  • Own global pipeline targets

  • Drive net-new logo acquisition and new product growth within existing customers 

  • Deliver predictable, high-quality pipeline aligned to revenue goals, conversion performance targets, and quarterly execution commitments 

  • Partner with Sales leadership to define pipeline quality standards, shared conversion expectations, and clear inspection routines that drive results 

Demand Organization Leadership 

  • Lead established Vertical Demand Generation Directors aligned to market segments 

  • Build and develop a high-performing global demand organization with clear performance standards 

  • Attract, coach, and elevate top-tier demand talent 

  • Drive consistency, urgency, and accountability across vertical teams while evolving programs to meet the needs of today’s buyer 

Operating Model, Execution Discipline, and Performance Results 

  • Establish clear operating rhythms including forecast reviews, performance scorecards, pipeline diagnostics, and weekly execution reviews 

  • Build transparent accountability systems tied to leading indicators, lagging results, and corrective action plans 

  • Allocate demand investment based on measurable performance and growth opportunity 

  • Translate performance gaps into specific execution plans, owners, timelines, and measurable improvement targets 

Customer-Centric, Experience-Led Demand 

  • Embed customer-centric and experience-led principles into demand strategy

  • Align programs to buyer behavior, lifecycle stage, and segment priorities 

  • Ensure demand programs support both acquisition and expansion growth 

AI-Enabled Demand Performance 

  • Ensure AI capabilities are translated into measurable demand performance gains 

  • Improve targeting precision, personalization, testing velocity, and speed to market through AI-enabled workflows 

  • Partner with Marketing Operations, Data Science, IT, GTM Engineering, and Revenue Operations to operationalize scalable demand capabilities 

Data-Driven Growth and Experimentation 

  • Leverage forecasting, predictive insights, and measurement frameworks to guide decision-making 

  • Lead structured experimentation to identify and scale effective growth levers 

  • Continuously optimize cost per opportunity and pipeline productivity 

How You’ll Operate 

  • Establish shared accountability with Sales for pipeline quality, conversion performance, and expansion outcomes 

  • Translate strategy into scalable execution plans with clear owners, milestones, operating cadences, and measurable outcomes through partnership with Marketing Operations and GTM Engineering 

  • Apply forecasting, analytics, and funnel governance in collaboration with Data Science and Revenue Operations 

  • Align with Product Marketing to ensure compelling offers and positioning clarity 

  • Partner with Brand to strengthen market consideration across vertical segments 

  • Collaborate with Customer Success to drive expansion pipeline within existing accounts 

What you'll bring:

  • 12+ years of B2B SaaS demand generation leadership experience 

  • Demonstrated ownership of pipeline outcomes tied directly to revenue, with a track record of delivering measurable results against targets 

  • Proven ability to move from strategy to execution quickly, creating focus, momentum, and accountability across teams 

  • Proven leadership of multi-team, segment-aligned demand organizations 

  • Strong track record of building operating rhythms and accountability systems 

  • Experience scaling repeatable demand motions across multiple segments 

  • Experience driving AI adoption through cross-functional partnership 

  • Executive-level partnership skills with Sales, Operations, and Analytics leaders 

  • Experience operating in complex, multi-solution SaaS environments

The starting base pay is $150,400.00 to $204,100.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
