As the Head of HR Analytics, you will lead the HR Analytics & Metrics function. You will work closely with HR staff and business management to create actionable analytics that support decision making at all levels (strategic, tactical and operational). To achieve this, your role will be responsible for the design, implementation, evaluation and analysis of data and reporting mechanisms to bring clarity to HR related metrics and overall trends in the organization. About the Role
We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our integrated People Analytics function—uniting analysts, developers, and researchers to create a truly data-driven culture. This role is pivotal in shaping how Citizens Bank leverages human capital insights to inform business decisions, influence outcomes, and reimagine the future of HR where AI and human potential work hand in hand.

Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer of HR, the Head of HR Analytics will define and execute our talent analytics strategy, delivering actionable insights that transform workforce planning and colleague experience. From automating processes and building predictive models to leading listening posts and advancing AI-driven solutions, this leader will be at the forefront of innovation in HR.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the People Analytics Strategy: Drive the evolution of HR analytics to unlock business value and enable smarter decisions.
  • Deliver Insights That Matter: 
    • Measure and report on workforce trends.
    • Diagnose root causes through advanced analysis.
    • Predict future outcomes with statistical modeling.
    • Prescribe evidence-based actions that move the business forward.
  • Tell the Story: Translate complex data into compelling narratives for executives and stakeholders.
  • Build and Inspire a High-Performing Team: Lead a group of specialized professionals, fostering excellence and innovation.
  • Champion Data Stewardship: Ensure governance, security, and accessibility of HR data while optimizing our data warehouse.
  • Innovate with AI: Harness emerging technologies—including agentic AI—to personalize colleague experiences and revolutionize HR practices.
  • Partner Across the Enterprise: Collaborate with HR, IT, and business leaders to align analytics with strategic priorities.
  • Advise Leadership: Provide the CHRO, CEO, and Board with insights that shape enterprise decisions.

Qualifications

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Economics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics leadership.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and delivering workforce insights.
  • Proficiency in advanced statistical methods, predictive modeling, NLP/text analytics, and visualization tools (Tableau, R, Alteryx).
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and progressive analytics strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and consultative skills.

Pay Transparency 

The salary range for this position is $201k-$250k per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
